Steps to Getting Started with Therapy-Early Detection is Key
If you have concerns about your child or a teacher or pediatrician refers your child for an evaluation, there are several choices:
You can contact All in 1 S.P.O.T. with TheraTalk directly and:
- All in 1 S.P.O.T. with TheraTalk can perform a free screening to determine whether your child needs further assessment (i.e., complete speech and language evaluation and/or swallowing/feeding evaluation.
- All in 1 S.P.O.T. with TheraTalk speech pathologists can conduct a private evaluation and private therapy sessions.
- All in 1 S.P.O.T. with TheraTalk can help determine if your health insurance covers for a speech/language/feeding evaluation and/or therapy that can be performed at our center.
- All in 1 S.P.O.T. with TheraTalk can refer you to the appropriate educational evaluation program, (Early Intervention for 0-3 years and Department of Education for 3-21 years). A multidisciplinary evaluation will be conducted and if your child qualifies for therapy, you can request All in 1 S.P.O.T. with TheraTalk. These programs are free of charge to all families.
We are here to help you throughout your child’s journey and can provide you with a wealth of information.
We have several occupational therapists to choose from that have their own unique methodologies/approaches designed to achieve functional outcomes that promote the highest possible level of therapy success. Some of our OTs specialize in the floor time model and others in structured fine motor, and sensory integration. We try to select the best therapist that will meet all of your child’s needs.
We are also handicap accessible and have plenty of parking available. Services are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
